This list was set up by members of the class of '57 - the Rock'n'Roll generation who started out in the First Form at Workington Grammar School in September 1952. (Hence the list name.) But there's no restriction to that year only. *Anyone* interested in WGS in the nineteen-forties and nineteen-fifties is most welcome on the list.
